Students shouldn have pets

These days’ students should have a pet, however some of students shouldn’t have a pet. And some of students don’t want pets because they don’t have pets for another reasons. In my opinion students shouldn’t have pets.
Some students really like the pets and they also want have a pet in their life, but they don’t know how can look after the pet well. For example when they have just bought a pet for few weeks, they like the pet and look after them well. Maybe they give pet a wash and sleep with their pet. However after a few weeks they are tired of washing their pet and they don’t want spend money for pet’s food or other things. And few months later maybe the pet is thin and dirty. Also they don’t bother to take their pet out for walk and this makes pet unhappy. This is why the New Zealand governments and pet shops don’t want sell pets to international student because when they finish their study then they go back their own country and they throw away their pets anywhere they can.
In conclusion, international student should not have pets because they do not have the energy and time to look after them well and when they leave the country their pet will have no home.

UNITEC gym

The UNITEC gym is open from 6am to 9pm on Monday to Thursday, 6am to 8:30pm on Friday and 8am to 5pm on weekends. It is located in building 174 and the shortest route to the gym is through gate 3.
After Georgina told us about the UNITEC gym, she told us a little about her job, she advices about healthy living, fixes exercise machines and organizes sports teams.
The speech was interesting and quite useful for me because I am interested in taking on some sports in UNITEC too.

My homestay grandmother

My homestay grandmother is 84 years old. She is not tall. She has short silvery white hair. She ususlly has a big smile. She always wear a lot of clothes because she likes to be warm, but she likes fashionable dress, too. When she reads books or newspapers she needs glasses. At night she goes to bed very late, but in the morning she gets up very early. Even though she is old, she looks younger than her age. She was a art teacher in china. Now she has retired and lives with her daughter. She likes cooking delicious food, also she like gardening. She has planted many kinds of roses-Penny Lane, Precious Pet, Bean Rock and City of Sails. She has planted some strawberry, the strawberry is big, red, and sweet. In her free time she likes to listen to radio and watch movies. Over all, grandmother is a out-going and optimistic elderly.I like this grandmother in New Zealand very much.
